Faster earning pulls spend up
The closer a customer gets to a faster-earning tier, the harder they push to reach it. A x2 at the top turns a nice badge into a concrete reason to consolidate spend with you instead of a competitor.
Status they can feel
The multiplier is visible in the loyalty app and on the wallet card, so a tier isn't an abstract label — every purchase visibly earns more, reinforcing why the level is worth keeping.
Growth without the margin hit
Apply the factor to tier points only and reward cost never moves, or preview the redemption cost and cap the multiplier before it goes live. You control exactly how generous each tier is.
Set how fast each tier earns
Give every tier its own earning factor — Bronze at the base rate, Silver x1.5, Gold x2. On a 1 pt/€1 base, a Gold customer earns 2 pts/€1, so €100 spent moves them toward the next reward twice as fast. The factor stays hidden until you switch it on.

Speed up progression, rewards, or both
Decide what the multiplier touches. Apply it to tier points only and customers climb tiers faster with zero extra reward cost. Apply it to new balance points too and they also earn spendable rewards faster. Change your mind anytime — it never rewrites points already earned.
Changing it rebuilds current-cycle tier points, without rewriting existing points.

A benefit customers can't see doesn't change behavior. The current multiplier lives on the wallet card and in the loyalty app — with a design and translations that can change per tier — so Gold feels different from Bronze on every purchase, and a push lands the moment a higher factor unlocks.
