Shopify Multipass, customers login automatically

Let users log in to the best passwordless system for shopify stores

What is Multipass?

Shopify Multipass, combined with the Jericommerce wallet, enables you to deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure a seamless transition between the wallet pass and your store.

Multipass is a Shopify Plus feature that allows you to create links that automatically log in users to specific areas of your store. This opens up a world of possibilities when you create campaigns or add links on the back of your wallet or when you send a push notification with a link.

Where could it be applied?

Here are some examples of how the Multipass feature could be useful:
A. Add links to key account pages on the back of your wallet pass, such as customer orders and account information. This will allow your customers to access these pages with a single click, without requiring a password.
B. Run promotional campaigns about specific products, where the link opens the specific product page, and the user doesn't need to log in to add it to their wishlist or cart.
C. Send delivery order updates to the customer's wallet pass. The wallet can display the order status with a single click.

How to configure it?

Enabling the Multipass feature requires a little configuration on both the Jericommerce and Shopify sides. Follow these steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to "Settings" > "Customer accounts" and turn on Multipass.
2. Copy the Multipass secret displayed there.
3. In your Jericommerce admin app, go to "Settings" > "Integrations", click on the three dots of the Shopify integration, and click "Configure".
4. Paste the secret copied in step 2 into the input field and save it.

How to use it?

With the Multipass integration already configured, you can select the "Shopify Multipass" option on the "Add Variable" button, near the link inputs.

Add custom Multipass link on Wallet links

When you click the option, you can choose the Default one, which opens the home page with the customer logged in, or add a custom URL to redirect the user to a specific store page.

To add a custom page, simply go to the desired page, copy the URL, and paste it there.
