This workflow is designed to trigger when an order’s fulfillment items are marked as “prepared for pickup” in Shopify. Here’s how it works step by step:
Trigger: Order is Ready for Pickup When a customer’s Click and Collect order is processed, Shopify Flow detects that the fulfillment order is prepared for pickup.
Action: Send a Trigger-Based Campaign via Wallet Pass Using JeriCommerce’s Wallet Pass integration, a push notification is sent to the customer with a message like:"Your order is ready to collect in our store!"At the same time, their Wallet Pass updates with:
A direct link to their customer account for order details.
Important: The notification will remain displayed on the back of the Wallet Pass for a specified period, giving customers ample time to pick up their order. This ensures that they have easy access to the information when they’re ready to visit the store.
In-Store Pickup: Scan the Wallet Pass at Shopify POS When the customer arrives at the store, instead of asking for an order number or searching for an email confirmation, store staff can simply scan the Wallet Pass at Shopify POS to verify the order. The store manager can quickly identify the customer via the Wallet Pass ID and see available orders tied to the customer. The order can then be marked as “collected” in the POS system, reducing wait times and improving the customer experience.
